|Philip Paul, Executive Vice President
Philip Paul has led Cerecons since its inception in 1996. Mr. Paul provides the firm's strategic vision and plays an active role in executing on these strategies.
Mr. Paul has spent more than 20 years delivering management consulting and IT strategic planning services to organizations ranging in size from start-up to Fortune 50. Before founding Cerecons, Mr. Paul served in senior management and technical roles at SHL Systemhouse, a systems integration and consulting firm that has since merged with EDS.
Mr. Paul earned his bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Calgary in Canada. He attended the National Institute of Technology for Computer Engineering in India before migrating to Canada.
Brad Ayres, Director of Sales
Brad Ayres joined Cerecons in 2004 and currently serves as Director of Sales. Previously, Mr. Ayres ran the sales department for Direct Midrange Systems, Inc., where he is credited with establishing strategic partnerships with Tier 1 hardware and software providers, streamlining the firm's quality control processes, and increasing sales by more than 300 percent.
Mr. Ayres began his career in high-tech distribution. As Distribution Manager at Encore Software, Inc., he was responsible for managing the company's flow of inventory within retail and distribution channels, liquidating excess inventory, and negotiating buy-ins with the industry's largest distributors.
Mr. Ayres holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Azusa Pacific University. He is active in the California Association of Physicians Groups (CAPG), as well as a number of national and regional health care associations and user groups.
Rasheed Baqai, Director of Business Development
Rasheed Baqai joined Cerecons in 2001. He is currently responsible for supporting sales endeavors and marketing initiatives that generate new clientele. He also supports customer acquisition and software implementations for Cerecons.
Before joining Cerecons, Mr. Baqai was retained as a strategic consultant to a variety of medical groups throughout Southern California, where he was responsible for advising and managing capitation processes and technology systems used in creating and tracking monthly payments to healthcare providers.
Mr. Baqai holds a bachelor's degree in information and computer science from the University of California, Irvine.
Sam Abraham, Director of Healthcare Operations
Sam Abraham joined Cerecons in 2005 and currently serves as the Director of Healthcare Operations. Mr. Abraham oversees the Customer Support, Account Management and Product Development. During his time at Cerecons, he has been part of 15+ implementation projects, has been responsible for client retention and supports customer acquisition and new client sales.
Before joining Cerecons, Mr. Abraham was a Database Analyst at University of California, Davis Medical Center. Mr. Abraham also holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a minor in Economics from the University of California, Davis.
Abisheg Elijah, General Manager – Strategy, Partnerships, Processes & Finance
Abisheg Elijah is responsible for Cerecons' strategic initiatives.
Before joining Cerecons in 2011, Mr. Elijah was a strategy consultant with Ernst & Young. He has assisted health insurers, TPAs and brokers that are entering emerging markets and has worked with several global teams spanning US, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia.
Mr. Elijah has also worked with large India-based IT companies—including Cognizant Technologies and Infosys Technologies—and brings to Unlimited Innovations a breadth of industry best practices in operating offshore teams.
Mr. Elijah holds a bachelor's degree in computer science engineering and a master's in business administration (MBA) from XLRI, one of India's premier management institutes.
Arvind Paul, Director of R&D, Technology Partnerships and Special Projects
Arvind Paul is responsible for the R&D, Technology Partnerships and Special Projects for Cerecons. In this role, he maintains the technology relationships with Microsoft, SAP, GE and Panopticon. In addition, he works with the technology partners on go-to-market strategies for new products and technologies.
Mr. Paul joined Cerecons in 2002 and served as a system architect for the web version of the application. In this role he created the frameworks for the various rules and interface engines within Cerecons. In his current role, he provides oversight to the Cerecons R&D team and is active in the technology partnerships related to Cerecons.
Mr. Paul holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and is currently pursuing his CFA certification.
